I can't not express the gratitude that I feel for someone finally expressing the hope that seems to be lost in rap with battles between the best artist of this time. Thank you for the song 'Hope' and thank you for finally seeing the same things that have brought tears to my eyes for years. I can't not thank you enough for realizing that generations of children are watching you and wanting to be just like you. If you spread hope, they will. Unfortunately, there is such a responsibility in being an artist that the message you bring gets twisted and turned around over and over. Children do not see music as I did back in the day. They take every lyric as some kind of statement and it provokes them to act a certain way. It should make a point but at the same time not hit anyone personally. But I understand there are rap battles and personal conflicts between different ideals in this times. Thank you for seeing that most of us that are older do still watch and cry along with you about all of the pain in losing some of the best artists like Tu-Pac and Biggie Smalls. It is so tough just to get respect these days and his message was just about to turn everything around. But once again, shot down at the point of clarity like so many others. What will happen when all of the heroes of this generation fall??? The youth will be lost. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for the message you are bringing and I hope someday soon the war will end too.
