New album shaping up. I'd say the following songs will definitely be on it:

Misery Fell
I'm Gonna Win
Turn the Lights Off

Agreed.

I'd say the next closest to be on would probably be Maybe In The Night... then maybe At Least A Day.

I'm really hoping for Inside The Mind Of Simon.

I'd really like to hope that Time Machine has a chance.
Didn't they say at one point that Inside the Mind of Simon is going to play a role in some kind of three-song thing in a future album? Anyone know if that still stands?

Speaking of the two newest songs, I'm in the process of trying to figure out all of the lyrics to Never Meant to Know. I'm having a bit of trouble; has anyone else got them? I also got the lyrics and chords down for Sacred Beast the other day.

EDIT: Okay, I've got all of Never Meant to Know except for one line, and two words in other lines. I guess I'll post, and you guys can tell me what you think.

Woke up today with the lay of the land
Feathering cap and the sun in the sand
It was easy
It was easy to understand

Everything suddenly falls out of sight
Every attachment _____ of the light
You have offered
You have offered to give me life

See the sky and all the land together again
See the way the Earth can stay below
Who do we think we are?
Everyone plays a part
There are some things we are never meant to know

Having enjoyed all the meat from the bone
Is perfectly equal to being alone
It was even
But you breathed and I turned to stone

Everything suddenly looks like a sign
Easy to see from the outer climb
I believe in what I leave in the _____ behind

See the sky and all the land together again
See the way the Earth can stay below
Who do we think we are?
Everyone plays a part
There are some things we are never meant to know

All the parts combine to one
And all of us around the sun
The ocean will not fall away
In order to the disarray

See the sun, the shadows cast
From all the times of olde had passed
See the ocean spinning out
?? ??

See the sky and all the land together again
See the way the Earth can stay below
Who do we think we are?
Everyone plays a part
There are some things we don't understand
Reasons, on the other hand
There are some things we are never meant to know

This is what Dwight had:

quote:
Never Meant to Know (3:05)
Rob Cantor

Woke up today with the lay of the land
Feather in cap and the sun in the sand
It was easy
It was easy to understand

Everything suddenly falls out of sight
Every attachment is made of the light
That you offered
You have offered to give me life

[Chorus]
See the sky and all the land together again
See the way the Earth can stay below
Who do we think we are?
Everyone plays a part
There are some things we are never meant to know

Having enjoyed all the meat from the bone
Is perfectly equal to being alone
It was even
But you breathe and I turn to stone

Everything suddenly looks like a sign
Easy to see from the (outer climb?)
I believed in
What I leave in the wind behind

[Chorus]
See the sky and all the land together again
See the way the Earth can stay below
Who do we think we are?
Everyone plays a part
There are some things we are never meant to know

All the parts combined to one
And all of us around the sun
The ocean will not fall away
An order to the disarray
See the sun the shadows cast
From all the times (the moon?) did pass
See the ocean spinning out
(Befall the home?) and all the doubt

See the sky and all the land together again
See the way the Earth can stay below
Who do we think we are?
Everyone plays a part
There are some things we don’t understand
Reasons, on the other hand,
There are some things we are never meant to know

Yeah these songs were already transcribed on the HITS forums -- and then again on here, too, somewhere, the other day.

no, no, it's cool, ignore all my hard work, it's cool.

=P lol

It's cool. It's good to hear that someone agrees with what I heard, verification is good!

I really like the lyrics to the songs.

EDIT: to save you some time, I'll post my SB lyrics here too:

Sacred Beast
Joe Hawley

We live in the service of the King
Almighty, in control of everything
As the Queen decides who lives and who dies
Tonight we will sing
Love was never more than simple (?)
(Whistling)
Easiest thing (?)

Our mission is to slay the Sacred Beast
Who has come to claim our innocence, at least
And though those who came before us (went?)
To die, as it’s feast
We’ll be riding high and swinging
(Whistling)
‘Till we’re deceased

First of all we know that we are dying for our lives
Wanting for (not and no?) surprise, so there will
Need to be a war for love
A fight in spite of death above
Biting the hand that feeds it’s own demise

We thought we had found a separate piece (or peace)
We thought all our pain had finally been released
But as long as we’re alive we’ll never rest in one piece
Meanwhile (may we?) join in whistling
(Whistling)

Worst of all it knows it’s only truth is made of lies
Wanting for (one?) and ever wise, so there will
Need to be a compromise
Easier to close our eyes
Seeing the other sides of our disguise

We thought love was only nice or mean
Perhaps it’s something vaguely in-between
So while neighbors’ fight to paint their yards
The best shades of green
We’ll be in the garden growing
(Whistling)

I looked briefly on the HITS forums, but I didn't see anything. At any rate, this is what I've figured out, so it's good to see that we agree on mostly everything.
I forgot to post what I have of Sacred Beast.

We live in the service of the King

Well, crap. It messed up the way the chords were displayed; I had it so that the chords were above each word that they change on, but I guess you guys will have to figure that out. D:
The only chord I'm really not sure on is the F# in the middle of each verse. I THINK it's F#, as I have yet to find anything that sounds closer, but it still just sounds weird.

Neato! Thanks for chording that up. May I request chords for Never Meant to Know?

You may, but I cannot guarantee they will be as good as the chords for Sacred Beast. It seems a bit more complicated. I'll get on it, though, I already know it starts in E.

EDIT:

E
Woke up today with the lay of the land
C#m G#m
Feathering cap and the sun in the sand
A
It was easy
Am
It was easy to understand
E, E7

E
Everything suddenly falls out of sight
C#m G#m
Every attachment is made of the light
A
You have offered
Am
You have offered to give me life
E, E7

A E E7
See the sky and all the land together again
A G#m
See the way the Earth can stay below
A B
Who do we think we are?
G# A
Everyone plays a part
F#m B E E7
There are some things we are never meant to know
E, E7

E
Having enjoyed all the meat from the bone
C#m G#m
Is perfectly equal to being alone
A
It was even
Am
But you breathed and I turned to stone
E, E7

E
Everything suddenly looks like a sign
C#m G#m
Easy to see from the outer climb
A Am

E, E7

A E E7
See the sky and all the land together again
A G#m
See the way the Earth can stay below
A B

G# A
Everyone plays a part
F#m B E E7
There are some things we are never meant to know

G#m D#m7
All the parts combine to one
G#m D#m7
And all of us around the sun
E B
The ocean will not fall away
E B
In order to the disarray

G#m D#m7
See the sun, the shadows cast
G#m D#m7
From all the times of olde had passed
E B
See the ocean spinning out
E B
Befall the home and all the doubt

A E E7
See the sky and all the land together again
A G#m
See the way the Earth can stay below
A B

G# A

F#m B
There are some things we don't understand
F#m B
Reasons, on the other hand
F#m B E E7
There are some things we are never meant to know
E, E7x4

Aaand yet again, all my work in putting the chords in the right place above the words is for naught. D:
That was actually easier than I thought. The only part I'm not really sure about is the bridge ("All the parts combine..."). Other than that, I'm pretty sure about everything. And it's no typo if you see G# and not G#m; there ARE both G# major and minor chords in the song.

Am I the only one who's having a bit of trouble distinguishing signatures from the rest of what someone's saying in a post? There's no definition, like a line under a post or anything now, so half the time when I see someone's signature I think it's part of his or her post.
Especially yours, 10SNE1?. I keep wanting to say, "Yes, actually I have heard the flibbity jibbity jibber jabber!"

Yeah, I considered making mine "Don't you hate it when signatures look like posts" and seeing how many people answer.

I completely agree with you, a bar or something to separate would be good.
