Movin' On Up SR BBS Fan!

So my daughters 4th birthday party was this past weekend. In the most sweetest little girl voice she asked "Mom, it's still summer, right?" and I said "yes" and she said "So we can play the 'summer song' for my friends at the party!" The summer song is Shot of Laughter.

Of course I said YES and 67 of our friends and family got to hear it. Any promo is good promo, right???? Razzer

Smiler That is so cute our little people have favorite SR songs & videos. My girls (one 4 the other 2yrs old) both love the song Chasing you Around. They sing it in the car at the top of their little lungs. I should tape them someday and play it for them when they are older. It is a riot. LOL

That's funny because my 4yr & 7yr always ask for me to play sugar ray in the truck. then sing and jam. Their favrites songs are mean michine, RPM & Breathe. My 4yrs favorite video is every morning because Mark looks funny in the wig.

OH, I can top it all! My five year old likes to act out the Mean Machine video and loves to sing it too. My youngest is 2 1/2 and has learned Sugar Ray tunes before learning Twinkle Twinkle and the ABC song! SAD!!! But cute!

What is it with Mean machine and RPM? Your children and my girls love it! They run around the kitchen like maniacs when those songs come on. But don't play 56 Hope Road - forget it - they don't like that one. Such discriminating taste for pre-schoolers. hehe! Maybe SR should come out with a Best of... for our kids or change genres to childrens music! haha! Big Grin

I can add to this! I have a daughter named Alyssa who is 3 going to be 4 in March. She adores Mark....like mommy! And, the other night I had a dream that she kissed him on his nose (kinda weird) but that's what it was, so I told her and now she keeps saying I want to kiss Mark again.... Big Grin So I told her in my next dream!! Now she keeps asking if I had any more good dreams. They are soo cute at this age. But she loves SR and always asks me to play their songs and her fave song is "Is She Really Going Out With Him." So for awhile we couldnt figure why she picked THAT song. Then my oldest daughter Andrea said "oh i know why" because when Mark says around "here" Alyssa says "here" the same way he does so she can relate to it. You know how he says "he-a". I hope you guys got it its kinda like an isolated joke! Just thought I'd share since we were on the subject of "kids." Big Grin

Well my 6 year old son Jordan loves MrBartender. When that song comes on he yells MY SONG. Then he starts dancing and playing air guitar. He's going to be my little rockstar. By the way he was born on Mark's birthday. I didn't plan that either lol.

My son also love Is She Really Going Out With Him but he sings is she leary going out with him! I saw it being played on XM the other day and put it on for him (it was the original Joe Jackson version) and he told me that it wasn't the right one with Mark. Also, whenever someone special is coming to the house and I won't tell him who it is he always asks if it is Sugar Ray coming?! Too funny! He was so mad when I got to go to a meet and greet and couldn't take him a long. I hope the boys are around as long as Aerosmith and The Stones and that one day he and my little girl will get the chance to meet them.

I think you can see the videos on line but if not, they are on a sugar ray dvd, not music in high places but the other dvd they put out. Check out Amazon, that's where I got both of mine and I think I got them cheaper because I bought them together. As far as the kids coming to the concert, I would love that!! I took my son last labor day to a concert they put on at the oceanfront but only because it was outside. I would love for him to be able to actually meet the band and sing and act out their videos for them - they would really get a kick out of it! Kids are great!! And easy to brainwash Batgirl!!! Ah.....gotta love 'em.

My 4yr daughter Isabelle watches the videos online. (yahoo music i think) She goes on my husbands computer and puts the head phones on and sings and giggles. I think my kids would just die to go to a meet & greet. My younger 2 loved the concert we went to in july. They still talk about it.

Pat your selves on the backs folks. Brainwashing or not - our kids have GREAT taste in music!

Can you imagine if SR had a show for us (with optional babysitting services, of course). And a huge meet and greet with all of our kids...I think the boys would be scared half to death with all those children running around screaming for them....haha! What a sight that would be! Big Grin

I don't think that our guys would be scared because Mark is the only one of them that doesn't have kids yet (but if I had my way we would be making a baby TONIGHT Roll Eyes--hehe lol---and yes I had to go there). But that would be great. I think the kids and our guys would love it tho.

And on Amazon and E-Bay u have to have a credit card and I don't have one anymore nor a check card so I guess I'm just out of luck. I have also checked the internet but can't find the videos (well I find them on VH1 but couldn't get them to work). Frowner
