They are playing a ton of Sugar Ray on various radio stations in this area. It is nice to see them kick it up a notch even though it's been raining for days again. It certainly brightens my day!

And on a side note: Does anyone know what the heck HD Radio is? (high def?) I keep hearing ads that there are secret radio stations out there that you can only get with HD Radio. Sounds like a scam, but it's on legit radio stations. Anyone know?

I've heard those HD commercials, too (here in Chicago). I have no idea what that's all about...but it must be reasonably large if the commercials are playing on the East Coast and the Midwest...

T.L.D.

P.S. I miss Boston radio...92.9 and 94.5 were pretty good to Sugar Ray back from 1999 to 2003. It's good to hear that they still represent!

HD Radio is digital. The quality of FM and AM is supposedly way better on HD Radio. It's more like listening to a CD than a radio station. It takes out the annoying interruptions like popping, static, one station trying to tune in on another, etc...

Oh that makes sense. Do you have to buy some kind of adapter to attach to your car or other radio?

TLD-92.9, 98.5, 104.5, 106.3, 93.7 all have been playing SR. 94.5 is all crunk, rap, etc. Did you grow up here or just live her for a few years. I love New England even though I think I belong on the west coast sometimes...I need more sunshine and better beaches! But, I don't think I could ever leave-I love the fall too much. How is the Mid west treating you?

Whoops...I'm meant Mix 98.5, not Jam'n 94.5...

And, Kiss 103.5...

I went to school in Cambridge for four years, and my walkman was basically stapled to my head.

Fall in Boston is nice...but the Winters are NOT so nice, as you know. It got wicked cold along the Charles River...

But, the same could be said about Chicago. The weather is pretty similar in both places... super hot in the summer, super cold in the winter.

Although, this year, I hear you East coasters got hit pretty hard with flooding and whatnot...

Hopefull, y'all are hanging in there!

I love when a SR song sneaks out on the airways & surprises me. I don't listen to the radio much (i am usually listening to my SR cd's). But this weekend I was going to my parents & one came on the radio & it made me smile Big Grin

TLD-I'm a bit north west of boston so I lucked out. no flooding, thank goodness. I feel bad for people on the North shore - they swam for weeks. Be sure to come back and vist Boston! Just leave your bathsuit at home, the water is too darn cold! Smiler
