I'm totally into SR and think they're one of the best bands ever. But, unfortunantly, everyone of my friends just laughs at me when I say that they're a good band and say that they're a "****" band. I hate it when they say that and was just wondering whether it's just them that think that or if a lot of people think that.

Ok still couldn't justify deleting your post since even after we made comments you didn't reply back and you were only asking a question, it wasn't a direct hit SO we edited your post instead. Stephen-many of my friends have similar reactions to my passion for Sugar Ray because they are basing their opinions on a narrow selection of SR music-songs that have been released or made into videos. I let them borrow ALL of my SR CD's to hear the full range of their diverse style and they usually are impressed (and surprised!) enough to change their minds! Bringing someone to a show has the same effect

I hear ya! Most of my friends are guys & think their music is too pop. Sadly, alot of people only hear things like Fly, EM, etc. & think every song is like that & don't bother to dig deeper. Plus alot of guys are jealous of Mark being so perfect so they use that 'you only like them cuz he's such a pretty boy' excuse. Though it's not the reason for me, when you look around at shows sometimes that appears to be a big reason for the turnout. But, whatever, I know ALL their songs & love them ALL which makes me content & proud of my SR admiration! So don't feel too bad-it's their loss
