My Mike heard ISRGOWH today and he says hey that's Sugar Ray! I'm like no it's not, he's like yes it is, no it's not Mike... h*ll yeah it is listen!... It was f*ckin' hilarious that he was arguing with me saying that's Mark singing that d*mmit!...and I kept trying to tell him that it was Joe Jackson. I finally proved to him it wasn't Sugar Ray and he was like well D*MN! Mark sounds just like that dude! It was too funny. He'd never heard the song until Sugar Ray covered it.

That's cute. I always loved Joe Jacksons version. Yes Mark and Joe do sound simular.

What's even more funny is that I tried to trick my five year old son Lane into thinking that he was listening to SR's version when it was really Joe Jackson and he knew right off that it was not Mark singing. Boy have I created a monster!!

I don't see how anyone could mistake the two. They may sound just a small bit similar but not enough that you can't tell the difference. He says to him they do sound almost identical on that song. I think he just hasn't heard Mark's voice enough. Maybe I should start playing SR music around him constantly and all those Mark interviews I have.
