I thought this would be interesting to see why you are a SR fan and when you knew you were a real SR fan (when you were hooked for the first time). Also there must be some weird stories to why you are a SR fan so here's your chance...

IT WAS NOT THE GOOD LOOKING OF MARK..!!! Ha,ha.

1.At first I heard Mark´s voice in the Shania Twain song "Party for two". I was sooo fascinated of this sexy voice...

2.Then I saw the video with Mark and Shania... SUCH a handsome man... these eyes....!! WOW!!

3. Then I bought "ITPOL" and all was clear... I LOVED the music of this band forever.. In the next TWO weeks I bought ALL their albums....


And now I´m lost forever...ha,ha.....

Hey, such a nice band... NO UGLY...!!

They had me at Fly and I've hooked ever since....I just realy like all of their music. I don't have one album, but downloaded (legally of course!) some of the songs. SR fits whatever mood I may be in and at the end of the day, it's their music that is most pleasing to my ears. I didn't get all googoo gaga over their looks until I joined this board! hahaha!

Mean Machine got me. I loved the wackiness of the video and the guys falling all over the ice and seeing Rodney's patch pants and that huge fro. The milk in Stan's drum was cool. I loved that song, but I think when I saw some girl interview the guys on MTV's Fanatic and Rodney brought Austin I knew these guys were cool. Mark was so nice to the girl interviewing them. All the guys were nice. I just thought they were all so hot and down to earth. When Fly came out I was then an official fan. Does anyone have MTV's Fanatic with Sugar Ray on video? I have been trying to find it for years, but haven't really been looking too hard. It would be so cool to see it again. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

No that was VH1's FanClub. The shows are totally different. MTV's Fanatic was taped back in the late 90's and it was a girl who was a fan that sat down with the band and interviewed them. It was really cool and I've been trying to find it forever.

I know which one you are talking about Deb because I remember seeing it. I can't remember recording it though. I'll keep a watch for it while going through my tapes for Bancie.

I have to admit Mark got me hooked. I saw Mark on rock and roll jeopardy and thought that is one hot guy. I asked a friend about this group Sugar Ray that he was front man for and he turned me on to Lemonade & Brownies. I loved the harmonies! I agree all the guys are HOTTIES! The rest is history!

I always liked Sugar Ray songs but never really paid attention to them other than to just listen to them. Then last year I became more interested and bought the cd's I could find and really liked the stuff you didn't always hear on the radio. I still don't have the first couple of cd's and am still looking. I went to a concert this year and it was amazing.
