Just to clarify, the bulletin yesterday simply said that we had a little update coming today. No one said it was going to be BIG news...

You should have titled the bulletin "2 New Tour Dates." The titles should be more specific, for instance the "STP Announcement" blog where it was just a plug for Robert DeLeo's MySpace, the title to that could have easily been "Robert DeLeo has a MySpace." I could be nitpicking, but it seems to irk a lot of people, the titles just come off as misleading.

If you don't like how Matt does his shit, then get your STP news elsewhere.

He's been doing this longer than you've been out of diapers.

I was simply giving my feedback on the MySpace bulletin/blog headlines. I think he does a great job with this forum and site, I was giving constructive criticism.

Don't worry about Bird. He's the forum's resident douche bag from the old days.

Yitzhak, good to hear from you, friend. It has been a long while since we've interacted. Killed any Palestinians lately?

There hasn't been very much noise made about the current dates. To the handful of people who visit here or the Below Empty forum, sure you guys already knew about Canada and such, but to the other 100,000 people on Myspace, it's news to them. You have to understand, that there is a group of us that knows everything going on with STP and then there is the rest of the world.

In regards to the STP Announcement...the main point of that bulletin/blog was to clarify who has official pages. The title needed to be "strong" and we needed people to read it. It was important to the guys to have this known because the fake pages that existed were becoming problems in their everyday lives.

Don't worry about the whining, Matt, personally, I am surprised that they are touring at this point. Happy but surprised.

HELL YES!!!!

Oh and I'm thrilled with the fanclub presale this time around. I mean I liked it last year, but I was expecting to have to pay the big bucks like last year when they had the VIP packages with the hat & sweater, but was really surprised to be offered to just pay the same price tickets that anyone else is gonna get through the normal sale!

I hope they switch in some deeper songs or even if they still do a greatest hits kinda set like last year just switch up those 3 nuggets from last year like Superman, Sin, Too Cool Queenie, etc.

LET'S DO THIS!!!!

I just logged in to the STP site and my fanclub membership has been "reset", is it normal practice to have to pay the entire membership fee over again to stay in a fanclub (the "2009" fanclub??) This makes me feel way sad.

My only exit is a one way out.
