No, not when you throw 9 walks, and hit two more batters. Plus, Hudson was out of control much of the game. This wasn't because he didn't want to let guys like Jason Lane or Willy Taveras swing away... it's because the pitching was awful no matter which mediocre batters you're facing.

I am from Jersey and grew up in the 80's to watch the Yankees, Jets and Devils all suck... The only team that was decent were my Knicks. So with that said (just giving background info), I am pissed with the Yankee game... I think we really needed that game and we were doing pretty well after Johnson left. We got beat by a better team tonight. I am confident we are going to win with Chacon on the mound tomorrow for game 4 facing elimination, but I am weary with game 5.

i have lots of friends in chicago...that would be fun.

This is the Cardinals year....last year they ran into one of the hottest teams in playoff history and I don't think anyone was going to beat them. This year, however, w/ a better pitching staff in place and the best offense in baseball I don't see the Cardinals losing but a couple games in the whole playoffs.

Well well well, what a week it's been. And now the White Sox are going to the World Series, and it looks like the Astros are about to do the same.

It's going to be one of those World Series that everyone thinks will be a completely low scoring affair, but we'll end up seeing final scores like 9-7, or 14-11.

And White Sox win it in 6.

people are going nuts here trying to get a hold of the championship shirts.. i was in academy today to return something and people were lined up to purchase astros stuff.. they ran out of champ. hats and shirts and people were limited to buying only two of the same product design..

ps.. stros take it in the 6th/7th.. they'll have to fight for it like they have everything else this year..
