Lots of you from the tri state area here. Who else is dying from the weather? Not exaggerating in the least, I almost fainted at work today inside an air conditioned building.

I have to go outside and turn on the ac in my car to cool it off before I drive anywhere.

It's been pretty hot round here in New England. I walked home from school today and I guess it was super hot but I didn't notice till I got inside my house with the A/C turned on.

that outside show at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa is going to be unbearable. it will be very hot and muggy so you better drink lots of water if you're going there.

If you get tix in the covered seating area it wont be as bad Num4, but I agree its gonna be one hot bitch at the show.

the air was just THICK today. usually it's a little cooler where I am because I'm not too far from the ocean. But not today....

Desiree, did you go to the Radiohead show? that's the first time I've been there and it's a really nice venue. $9 was a bit much for a beer though so I didn't get one.

No Num4 I didn't go to the Radiohead show, actually I haven't been there in a few years. Is parking still free? $9 is ridiculous for a beer, they rip you off on drinks. Water is probably like $5.

It was horrible. You could see the haze over all the roads throughout the day. Glad there has been some relief though! I'm happy again.

yeah parking was free so that was pretty nice. I went to The Cure show last night at the arena and it was $10 to park and still $9 for a beer. the show was unbelievable. they played for about 2 1/2 hours. have you been to Restaurant BT in Hyde Park? that place is the best.

SO... HOT... LIVE... IN... DESERT...

I just got back from vacation in Montreal and Quebec and it was nice up there. it was actually a bit chilly and rainy in Quebec. highs were in the upper 70's and very low 80's. the Montreal jazz fest was going on too and I got to see some cool shows. David Amram was the highlight. Steely Dan played 2 shows but I didn't get to see them. the biggest disappointment was I missed Return to Forever. damn the luck!
