I know there are a few tristate area people on here. Anyone manage to escape the flooding? Unfortunately for some of you I didn't float away.

Roses in a vase of white
Bloodied by the thorns beside the leaves
That fall because my hand is
Pulling them hard as I can

Not at my house, but people up the road 10 minutes or so had some major damage. Most of us around where I live prepare for this kind of stuff because we've all had our houses flooded before. If my power had gone out though my house would have been flooded for sure.

LOL Big Grin

I know I know... you push a button and these big Metallic flood-proof walls pop up out of the ground and make an enclosure around your house!?

Actually we used them to evaporate the water until we could afford a sump pump.
