Always thought Wicked Garden and Dead & Bloated share a kinship. Overall feel and arrangement I guess.

There's a couple of Talk Show songs that, when I hear them I recognize the same chord changes from STP songs, with very subtle differences. I haven't listened to my talk show album in a while, so I can't recall specific tracks, but I always felt it stuck out a bit it was so similar

One AoA song sounds like Wicked Garden, forgot it's name. It Doesn't Seem To Matter sounds similar to Vasoline.

Hmm, lemme think here, and these are songs that only remind me, personally, of each other, not necessarily sediments other people would share.

Regeneration - Transmissions From a Lonely Room
Down - Dumb Love
And So I Know... - Samba Nova
Crackerman - Unglued
Glide - Still Remains

And in Wonderful, it's really weird and scary, but I can swear toward the end of the song I can hear the Tumble In The Rough guitar riff really far in the background. Tell me if I'm crazy.

And so I know it's begun again.

Yeah I agree Down and Dumb Love have a very similar vibe and for some reason I always get Regeneration and Transmissions mixed up.

10/10: STP!!!

I disagree with a lot of what was posted, but here's what I think:

Glide/Still Remains
Piece of Pie/Silvergun Superman
Ride the Cliche/Hello, Hello (Talk Show)
Trippin'/John (Talk Show)

I have to say "Glide" sounds uncanningly like "Saturday" by Talk Show, lol.

The beginning of Ride the Cliché and Sin always sounded similar to me.

I don't if anybody notices it but the Talk Show album sounds more like Purple than Tiny Music...

Heaven and Hotrods/Big Bang Baby
Everybody Loves my Car/Meat Plow
End of the World/Silvergun Superman
Wash Me Down/And So I Know & Adhesive
Glide & Saturday/Still Remains
Long Way Home/Ring Twice
Hello Hello/Ride the Cliche
Behind/Kitchenware and Candy Bars
Black Again/Hide
So Long/Interstate Love Song
Tumble in the Rough/Unlgued
John/Disappear (army of anyone)
Creep/Big Empty

Notice all of the Talk Show and Purple songs sounding alike?

Well I don't know but I've been told, you never slow down, you never grow old.
I'm tired of screwin' up, tired of goin' down,
Tired of myself, tired of this town

Wow... you guys really don't know who Talk Show was? While Scott had his solo album (12bb...please tell me you've heard of that) the rest of the boys (Rob, Dean, Eric...I feel like i should explain everything Smiler) got together with this guy Dave Coutts, who sang in a band called Ten Inch Men, and made an album under the band Talk Show (album is self-titled). There were some pretty stand out tracks on there musically, but, with all due respect to Mr. Coutts, he's no Scott Weiland. The song Saturday that everyone is talking about was a Talk Show song that was never released on a studio recording, but was played live. It became the STP song Glide on No. 4, obviously with different lyrics and flavor.

In terms of songs that sound alike, I finally thought of one of the STP/Talk Show similarities I was tlking about earlier. If you listen to "About a Fool", the part where scott sings "Still I wonder why...." always reminds me of "Behind" from talk show. Maybe its just me, but it always just kind of hits me like "oh! I know this song from somewhere...." Anyhoo....
