The band is sounding great and is really excited to get on the road. Look for some cool additions to the setlist!

Scott sang Atlanta when he sang for us in Denver. Even my husband recognized the song!

He also sang Atlanta while in Atlanta, go figure. He made some sly comment before it about how the song might be "vaguely familiar". It was awesome. We Georgians naturally get very excited about that! Supposedly Scott has a lot invested here from his favorite tattoo artist to recording to I-85 being the inspiration for Interstate Love Song.

If they play Still Remains I will go crazy. I would prefer Kitchenware and Candybars but anything I haven't heard live before, especially from Purple would be great. New is good too. I think a lot of folks have that thought burning in their brain.

Anyone like Purple as much as me? I doubt it...

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SEVEN CAGED TIGERS, LONG WAY HOME AND SEX & VIOLENCE!!!!!!!

I was looking over some setlists from the 2000 & 2001 tours. Wow, just numbing!!! Okay so we loved the comeback tour and of course you gotta stick with the greatest hits after such a hiatus. But now let's go deep fellas!!!!

I'm so pumped :-)

2 + 1/2 weeks left

Review from L.A. show says "Seven Caged Tigers" and "Army Ants" added. I am officially pissed that it seems I'm not going to make it to any shows on this tour.

I haven't heard them sound this good (Scott especially) in a very long time. I will write up a review on the Las Vegas show a little later today, but in a nutshell, it was awesome.

Yeah Scott's voice has been sounding a lot better, I could tell at my show when he totally nailed "Wicked Garden." At the New Years Eve show he totally butchered it. Also Seven Caged Tigers was perfect, it sounded like it does on CD. Less stage energy from Scott, but he sounds better. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't debut a new song though, it would be great to create early hype for the next record by debuting a new song live during this tour.

Thanks for the info. Are the rumors true about the first single being released in late September/early October and the album coming out in December?

There is no set date for a single or the album for that matter. There are 5 months left in the year, so sure, it could happen, but I know that they aren't on any sort of definite schedule and they don't have any deadlines they are trying to meet.
