Here is a new group photo of STP from kroq-centre.com, it is really tiny. Do you have a bigger version of it Matt?

They sure love the photos where they're sitting on grass. Great to see new photos, always makes me think of new albums.

Maybe we'll see this pic in the booklet for the new album?

If you go to the Mobile BAYFEST web site and on the home page if you watch the scrolling list of the different bands playing, you will notice another new picture of the band which appears to be of them standing in front of a church it looks like.

Oy, I cannot wait for new STP. Especially with the new PJ album being such a let down for me, I really need a serious rock fix.

Yeah? I don't mind it, it's quick and fun. It is lacking that solid rock song IMO, but there are some good songs on there.

There about 2 songs I really like, 3 or 4 that are ok, and the rest are on the border of blah and cheesy.

I love to new Pearl Jam album, in my opinion it's the best Pearl Jam album since Yield. Really fun record with some amazing lyrics (Just Breathe, The End).

I can't wait to hear new STP, I assume they will be playing a new song or two on the new tour, somebody better have a high quality camera next week and record any new songs played!

Coincidentally, it's the first album Brendan O'Brien has produced since Yield

I like the album too. The only issue I have is that it is a bit too short, and that I wish they would have picked up where Avocado left off. To me, that was an epic album, with Inside Job being the most epic piece within it. The sound was powerful but controlled and layered. Backspacer sounds stripped down - which I understand is the point, but Riot Act and Pearl Jam really got me into the bigger sound.

Just my 2 cents.

Odd as it, Just Breathe has been in the Top 100 songs on iTunes since the release (currently #81). The Fixer is #24.

I wonder how many new songs they will play on the new tour, I'm so pumped for October 2nd, I will stay up all night waiting for YouTube uploads of new songs! The great thing about anticipating a new STP album is I literally have NO CLUE what it will sound like, since STP have never made the same record twice.

This is true. I just really can't wait to hear the Deleo's do their thing again, and this time w/a much better singer than RP.

I'm on it!

The St Augustine venue allows cameras, while Hard Rock Orlando doesn't...so we'll see what we end up with!
