Any info on opening bands?? Not that it matters a whole lot but I do not want to see Tab the Band or BRMC again. Meat Puppets in Birmingham was pretty badass and despite their very strange front "man", The Greater Vavoom who opened for Scott solo in ATL was ok. Any relevant info appreciated.

I'm down to hang out before hand. I plan on getting there early anyway. Me and my buddy are staying at some shit hole hotel outside of AC (about 6/7 miles out). PM me about what you'd be up for.

I'm doing my best to get some friends to go down to AC so I can hit this show up.

If it's an open invitation, post location or e-mail, and I'll swing by.

Cheers!

What are your thoughts on how the show went?

I was floored above all with Dean. Rob was great too as were the rest but Dean's guitar skill was phenomenal! Scott and Dean seemed to be getting along. I saw Scott and Dean both grinning like possums a few times. I've NEVER seen that before. Army Ants and Seven Caged Tigers were incredible! Unglued I was not floored by, maybe because it was done very well at Scott's solo show I saw in Atlanta.

I really hate that Piece of Pie was cut from yet another show but the set was still great.

Does anyone else think MP are a little underrated/underappreciated??? They don't have anything catchy I think may be the problem. I guess Cobain didn't cover enough of their songs for the mainstream to start liking them.

Stop reading now if you don't want to hear this redneck's soap box...

I do now wish I had stayed in MD and saw the last show rather than driving my ass all the way to AC. The venue is quite overrated (not the show though Smiler) and my first impression of the state of NJ is not a good one, no offense to any natives intended. Call me a hick I guess but the farther I drove up I-95 the more uncomfortable I was in my own skin. I love to travel and mingle (been to europe and africa) and with each state, I grew more anxious to drive back home where common courtesy is taken far more seriously and the speed limit isn't really the speed limit. I'll shut up now before I offend but I would like to know what Maryland, Del, and NJ do with the money the feds give them for highways...anyone??? They charge outrageous (and unnecessary) tolls and the roads suck!!! The corrupt retarded right-wing politicians in the South can do better than that...

...regarding Piece of Pie...

Just checked below empty. They have setlists for 9 shows, ending with the NH show.

Piece of Pie was played 6 out of the 9 times for the posted sets. The only show I was able to make it out, it was cut, so I totally empathize!! I wish they'd just have scratched a different Core song and instead put Piece of Pie in there, it's not like they don't play an additional 7 songs off that album the vast majority of the time (D & B, STT, WG, Sin, Creep, Plush, Crackerman).
