I hope you're not talking about that Feel Good Inc. song. When kid starts rapping "don't stop get it get it" or whatever, I wanna throw a bowling ball through the TV.

Towing the line:

And I believe it's pronounced "Shoe-Shoe".....hippie.

isn't it?

Speaking of hippies, opinion on the new Sleater-Kinney?

Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul

And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I will follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch while you're lowered
Down to your deathbed
And I'll stand o'er your grave
'Til I'm sure that you're dead

absolutely wonderful. there's a track that comes in at 11 mins which had me a bit worried. i wasn't sure they'd be able to pull off such a long track with out it becoming tiresome. overall the album kicks you in the teeth, but still feels vulnerable and introverted.

my morning jacket-Z ...my first listen, verrrrry promising.

The My Morning Jacket album is terrific.

Also...

Andrew Bird - The Mysterious Production of Eggs
Nada Surf - The Weight is a Gift
Jimmy Eat World - Stay on my side tonight

I think I can pronounce Xiu Xiu perfectly. And that "La Foret" album has another cover art here.

The Shining- In the Kingdom of Kitsch You Will Be a Monster

Definitely something I can recomend, being in a sense the most original thing I've heard all year. I don't know what to call it; maybe noise with horns, but I guess that's not a full representation of the last couple songs. I've really come around to this little nugget though.

and

which is always a party. Gotta hear the new one.

Tis alright. Just listened to it once, so it'll need a few more spins. I like the first single plenty though. It kind of reminds me of a Mew song for some reason. If you're unable to get to the album for awhile, the video for it is on their website.

The new Stevie Wonder album. I'm underwhelmed and disappointed. It's my own fault for getting my hopes up, though. The slower songs are really good.

And still the new Mew album a lot.

I like the newer M83 because it actually has more singing. Giant Drag's cool, too.

i just kinda stumbled across it. isn't Nashville great? my only complaint is that 'it's the nighttime' gets stuck in my head for days.

Carolina gets stuck in my head. He's releasing Bedroom Classics Vol. 2 shortly on his own label. Nashville was the end of his commitment to Rykodisc.

I just bought Faith No More's Angel Dust, Of Montreal's The Sunlandic Twins, Pernice Brothers' Discover a Lovelier You and Jeff Buckley's Grace. Been crushin' on the FNM.
