Dreams Within

My dreams within silent skies
slipping further away
soft green eyes to chase the lonliness
but never quite catch
I am lost inside this reality of myself
Her porcelain ribbons asking
is this justified?
memories of the years gone by forever haunt my waking day
my fear realized... never will my eyes
rest upon your crooked smile again
all thoughts of you slowly fade with time
although never quite gone for good
my only hope is that you will forever remember
