Tip: The way he plays it is with finger picking, so, the way to play it is:
Keep your index finger on your second string (the second string closest to you) on that second fret, and use your thumb on your right hand and your index finger (or any other finger of your choice on your right hand you feel more comfortable finger picking with) to hit that 2 and open notes at the same time at the very beginning. Then, while you have your index finger on the said string/fret as stated before, have your middle finger on the second fret of your smallest string and use your ring finger to do the hammer on and pull off of the 2h3p2. Then, when you are doing the two open strings that follow, move your middle finger to your lowest string (closest to you) and put it on that third fret then repeat. Remember, always keep your index finger on that second string, second fret.

If this doesn't make any sense to you, then, thats about as best I can explain it without showing it to you, and I don't have a video camera that I can hook up to a computer or anything quite yet, so you're SOL. Woot!
