April 13 1999, Dysfunction was released.

Holy shit! Can ya beleive it's been 10 years already? Don't seem like it. I very rarely post anywhere but the lyrics section or the band association game, but I didn't see anyone else point this out and I thought it was important. Granted, I didn't buy Dysfuntion until early 2000, but I bet a lot of you bought it on this day or soon after. But anyway, definitely a major deal, this album. Introduced most of us to to Aaron and Staind. And it helped me through a lot of bad times (and still does).

Any of you have memories of Dysfunction?

I remember my grandma getting me Dysfunction when it came out. I heard Just Go on the radio and really liked it and she had gotten me the CD (unedited), and me being 9 at the time I always had to listen to it with headphones on so my parents didn't know, haha. But I listened to it all the time, throughout all my quick changes in musical taste, and even back when I was 9 I could already relate to some of the songs on there. Then, unfortunately later I could relate to 99% of the songs.

But it definitely got a lot of play when it came out and still today.

"It's Harrison!
He stalks you at night!
If you don't have morning wood,
Something's not right, it's
Harrison! Ohh, yeah!"

Yesterday I kept listening to it all day long. It really was a special day.
I bought Dysfunction in Sept. 2001, and it was the second Staind album I owned. I remember when I found it at the record store, I felt so lucky! When I got home and first put it on my cd-player (it was late night with my earphones) I thought there couldn't be a better cd in the whole world.
