all i can say on this is never has a cd touched me like Dysfunction....that is and will always be my favorite cd....every song, every lyric....I dont think any other STAiND album will ever take the place of dysfunction.....
my personal order of preference...and I know this will shock some..... 1. Dysfunction 2. Tormented 3. Break the Cycle 4. TIOP 5. Chapter V 6. 14 SOG you can squeeze the unplugged cd in between 1 and 2 if we're counting it as well.......  |

Whoever said that The Illusion of Progress is their least favorite album does not really know what they are talking about. I know it is extrememly hard to vote on favorites--some people may be sentimental about their first album or favorite song. I know I used to believe Break the Cycle was my favorite, but the more I listened to the other ones, the more I liked them as well. They are the one band that I like every song. I believe "The Illusion of Progress" is a terrific CD--I have listened to it very often since I got it. I was hooked the first time I listened to it. It has a mixture to it and some of the songs have a different Staind feel to them--but in a good way!! I love the other stuff, but don't knock "The Illusion of Progress!!!!!!"

i dont enjoy it that much.. its to different.. chapter V was very different.. but it grew on me and its a great CD.. same with 14SOG.. i love that CD also.... TIOP isnt growing... sorrryyy  |

my favorites in order from most to least are
1. Dysfunction 2. Break the Cycle 3. 14 Shades of Grey 4. Tormented 5. Chapter V 6. The Illusion of Progress TIOP took a while to really grow on me. I used to not like it at all but only a very few songs. I was very surprised at how Tangled Up In You grew on me. lol. The Corner is probably the only song on that album that isn't gonna grow on me. |

Your first statement made the rest pointless. No one on here said it was their least favorite album EVER, just their least favorite Staind album. And, just as you can't seem to understand how anyone can feel that way about the new album, I just can NOT understand anyone thinking Dysfunction is! However, I (unlike you) understand it is just THEIR opinion, and they are entitled to it.
