There new album is great but I've gotta say I hated 14 shades minus Price To Play. Tormented on the other hand-every song is solid-there new album is a happy medium,but I like it more than there previous album.
I hate bands that bitch when they're rich-when he was homeless he really was pissed off which is why I think Tormented kicked so much ass.
Anyone else have a more favorite/less favorite album from Staind?

Would you agree that 14 shades was a lazy happy-ass album and blows?

first off "lazy happy-ass album" if your old enough to make decisions then you can use much better english. Secondly 14SoG was not as bad as you make it seem, it was just a melow cd, which i loved most of those songs.Lastly this high and mighty Tormented cd everyone speaks of, ive heard it, and there are only maybe two good songs on it, mudshuvel and break. Other than that its really not that great.Basically that cd was pure ranting and nothing else, absolutely no singing.So if thats what you like than go be a Limp Bizkit fan, their latest cd is nothing but that.

Yeah its ur Opinion whether 14 Shades Of Grey Blows or Not I think its Pretty ok... I like the new album , Dysfynction and Break The Cycle Myself... and no Cold didnt put out heavy stuff and they've just Reicently Broken up so sorry about ur luck there... But Scooter and this Guy r doing an outside Project noww Staind Rules!.

That's cool I liked a couple Cold songs. I am impressed with Stainds new album cause I was afraid they would go too soft.

why do only the positive opinions matter? what if something legitimately sucks? when this site first launched, Johnny April said himself he wants to hear the good AND the bad, so why stop now? if you're bothered by so many posts being negative, perhaps you should consider that maybe these people have a point and arent just randomly bitching. just a thought

Well it looks like this topic is being watched a lot which I think is a good thing. I haven't been here in awhile since basically the old board-but I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who views my favorite/least favorite albums from Staind this way.
Bottom line is,for me,I think Staind should give the fans what they want to hear,and if most of them prefer Dysfunction/Tormented over 14 shades style music,then it should be what there next album/future music should sound more like.
I'm not saying I don't like there ballads either-man Aaron has a knack for making great ballads. But I'd like "14 shades of Dysfunctional Torment" for there next album with maybe a couple ballads-from a hardcore fans point of view...
