I listen to it from beginning to end, but..."Blow Away", "Intro", "Could It Be", "Zoe Jane", and "Reality" mean alot to me personally...Not really narrowing it down...the lyrics in all of those songs are so perfect, so meaningful...so "dead on"... Well, you know...

14 Shades is awesome IMO because of Reality and Yesterday. There are other good song on there, but those two songs, at the risk of sounding melodramatic, touch my very soul. They are so 'me'.

I know, it's a trip, because every CD that STAIND has put out, the Lyrics were perfect for what was going on in my life...it's like I grew with Aaron!!! I think that's why they are my Favorite, Aaron can read my mind ;o)

They read my mind, and her mind, and his mind...I'll never forget how disappointed and comforted at the same time, as I was standing there in line, waiting for Aaron, Mike, Jon, and Johnny to get to me at the meet and greet...And, I heard nearly everyone in line say the same thing I wanted to say...Disappointed because I realized that they heard it already (probably at every town, or appearance they made as well as every letter they receive)...because I thought I was unique....Comforted, because there were all these people who felt the same "connection" to those songs...because they too experienced some of the same emotions...It was surreal...Anyway, I know what you mean... www.myspace.com/edgesslowlyfray ...The walls you build around yourself...I guess they also keep you here... |
