I saw the It's Been Awhile video on MTV on december 2001. I thought it was a great song and I liked the video too

Heard "Just Go" on the radio released as their first single off dysfunction and thought this song kicks ass and is so different. It filled my soul and then saw the video for it on mtv2 and went out and got the album. To this day.. that is my favorite staind song.

Well the first time I ever heard a song by Staind, I was 11. It was "It's Been A While."
Then, when I was 13, I heard "So Far Away" on the radio and fell in love with that song. (For the record, it's still my favorite song.) I didn't become a true fan until a couple years after that though. It was more of a person then a song that got me into them. One of my friends is a huge Staind fan, and he sent me "Tormented" through a file transfer, and I pretty much fell in love with the music at that point. I remember my friend saying to me, "If you don't like it, that's OK." And I'm like, "No! I love it!" And I really did...thus began my infatuation with Staind, hehe.  This message has been edited. Yes, I do have hard copies of their albums now. I ripped them onto my computer and burned them though, so I could play the burned copies in my CD player and take them with me when I travel, etc. without having to worry about damaging the originals. ------- |
