I've been a staind fan for about a 9 months now. Although I've always heard their hits and videos off the radio or tv. My family seems to think that staind is to depressing to be listening to. Does anybody else have problems with a similiar situation. I don't care who you are. Commenting on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I think, contrariwise, Staind isn't depressing. Ok, they deal with depression, agression and life's negative sides in their songs... but to me, it has only helped to get rid of them. When listening to Staind I learn to handle things, especially depression and fears on a different way. Aaron's lyrics have had a very important significance in my life...

Like The one Person said. I think Staind has Helped me get thru High School , Depressoin and what not , but more Currently it Helps me Understand that I'm not the only one with Insecurity Issues when U have Feelings for someone who alot of people really like if u know what I mean and The Hard stuff just releases all my anger out..

My sisters always say that staind is so depressing. But to me it's music I like. It's not music you listen to and then kill yourself in your room while it plays.

staind has got me through many tough times. when i listen to the music i can feel it aswell. but as far as your family don't worry about them. my mom doesn't like it so i know about the family thing just don't stop listening to staind unless you want to not because your family wants you to.

my mom wasnt too thrilled when i listened to Metallica's 'Master of Puppets' because she thought it was about Satan, but i never did anything bad so she never really worried. so as long as you're not one of those idiots that lets music dominate your actions it doesnt really matter what you listen to

Didnt Aaron write "Waste" about a kid who killed himself, but loved stainds music, and his mom came to talk to aaron about it, and aaron didnt know what to tell her.. Im a huge fan of staind, but most of their new music isnt to depressing. For the past 7 years ive listened to their music and it helps alot. Deff doesnt make it worse
