Recently I saw Staind in concert. Right before he played "King of all excuses" he said this is for the person i hate, he is dead to me...or something like that...anybody know who the song is about or who he could be mad at?

I agree with you 100% Ryan. That song is awesome so what if the song is about a contractor. It's how he felt and it's about life and people get fucked over everyday. Aaron is just showing us he gets fucked over too he is a person just like us.

I totally agree w/you, Ryan. But, I also thought I'd add that I think at a show or 2 Aaron not only told us that it was written about a piece of shit, but that it was a family member. Could have hired a family member that ripped him off, maybe? Or, maybe like a lot of songs it is the same feelings that arise from a mixture of issues? Or, maybe none of the above? LOL. Who is "she"? When I first heard the song, I thought it was about a man abusing his daughter. But I guess the contractor thing could make sense, since apparently that's what Aaron said. I just wonder what the female in the song is supposed to represent.
