...STAIND is the best band, so all their songs are realy nice...but i think my favorit is epiphany, is realy profund, so thrilling... i love this band....it touches medita_tipa@hotmail.com

i think outside its a realy good song, the best of this is the lyric, it talks about the real world we live in, but understand us, there are a lot of good staind songs, i like all of it, so i choosed epiphany because its very complete, but i can be hours, days, months, years, listening and singing (horrible) outside..Big Grin

ive heard alot of the new stuff and i love all staind songs but the new song falling is really good and i can really feel the lyrics to it right now cause i can compare it to my life ...but my all time fav. staind song has to be fade because of the lyrics and oldschool on the bass in the begining..hell yeah lol...later

Just to throw out there stainds has zero bad songs they're all great but my favorite from each cd is:
Tormented - question
Dysfunction - home
Break the Cycle - safe place
14 Shades of Grey - falling down
and so far from what ive heard form Chapter V - please although i would like to hear the whole song to trippy.
My favorite over all would have to be home

I love all of Staind's songs, but my most favorite song would have to be Mudshovel. This is the song that got me hooked on the band.

"What is the best Staind song?" Haha, well that's easy to answer: All of them! Now, everyone has their personal favourites, and I bet even Aaron, Mike, Johnny or Jon couldn't say they have a "best" song. What I like about Staind, is the sound they make as a whole (If you get my jist). I have favourite songs based on vocal and instrumental performance. For example, some I like because of the vocals that come from Aaron and Johnny, and others I like because of combinations put together by Jon and Mike. Here are the songs I think are the best from each album (vocally and instrumentally). The song that got me listening to Staind was "It's Been Awhile."

TORMENTED
Vocally - Break, Four Walls
Instrumentally - Tolerate, Nameless, Mudshuvel, See Thru, Question

DYSFUNCTION
Vocally - Me, Mudshovel, Home, Excess Baggage
Instrumentally - Suffocate, Mudshovel, Home, A Flat, Spleen

BREAK THE CYCLE
Vocally - Fade, It's Been Awhile, Epiphany, Safe Place, Outside, Waste
Instrumentally - Fade, It's Been Awhile, Can't Believe, Safe Place, For You, Take It

14 SHADES OF GRAY
Vocally - Price to Play, Fray, Zoe Jane, Layne, Reality
Instrumentally - Price to Play, Yesterday, Fray, Zoe Jane, Falling Down, Reality

CHAPTER V
Vocally - Right Here, Schizophrenic Conversations, Cross to Bear, Please, Everything Changes
Instrumentally - Run Away, Schizophrenic Conversations, Cross to Bear, Please, King of All Excuses

Favourite Staind Album: Dysfunction
Least-Favourite Staind Album: Chapter V
First Staind Album: 14 Shades of Gray
Favourite All-Time Staind Song: Argh, it's so hard to choose, but when I consider vocals and instrumentals, I'd have to say It's Been Awhile and Novocaine tie for top spot on my list.

Staind also does some marvalous acoustic versions of their songs (and first-version acoustics as well). Here are my favourite acoustics from Staind.

It's Been Awhile (Studio Acoustic)
It's Been Awhile (MTV Unplugged, Live)
Home (MTV Unplugged, Live)
Epiphany (MTV Unplugged, Live)
Fade (MTV Unplugged, Live)
Excess Baggage

sup dude?
Accoustically, what do you think is staind best played song? I would really wanna hear an accoustic version of "Right Here" and "Take This" because those would be really mellow and very moving. Staind has always had their own dynamic way of playing their music and that's what I love about them. To feel Aaron's emotions while he sings is awesome because I can relate to what he goes thru a number of levels. Staind is by far the best band out there...
