good. i support any radio station that plays staind... no matter what song it is.

OK...this is a tough one for me. But here goes, a list of ten of my personal favorites. :]
1) "So Far Away" because it's such a hopeful song. It's been my favorite song for five years now. I used to have a hard time telling people my favorite song, 'cause I had so many, but once I heard that song, it won hands down. 2) "Right Here" because it reminds me of someone. :] 3) "Zoe Jane" because it reminds me of my nephew. In fact, I have a pic on my old MySpace of me and my nephew together, and the caption is "I wanna protect you from all the things I've already endured..." and my friend Ben (the one who got me into Staind & my resident Staind expert, haha) commented on it by saying, "That doesn't look like Zoe Jane to me." :] 4) "Mudshovel" 'cause it's so intense. 5) "For You" because it really expresses how we teens feel against our parents today. I mean, like, they should really pay attention to us - because then, we might not spin out of control. I really like the fact that they wrote this song solely for the kids who come up to them and talk to them at shows and such. 6) "Tolerate" because it's just so fucking heavy! 7) "Epiphany" because, even though it was written about having ADD, it reminds me of the same person that "Right Here" does. :] 8) "King Of All Excuses" because...well, I really don't have much of a reason. Reminds me of my dad, I guess. 9) "Reply" because it's an acknowledgment to us fans. :] 10) Last but not lease, "It's Been Awhile," simply because it was the very first Staind song I ever heard. :] -------  |

to me i think they all belong here...except maybe Trippy/Take This...it just never worked for me for some reason.
my top 3 lately are: Tolerate: ever since i first heard this song i pretty much fell in love with it. Id actually like to see this one redone and suprisingly id like to see aaron and the boys do it accoustic (for some odd reason i think theyd pull it off) Change: mainly its become one of my favorites..it grows on me every time i hear it, and along with Take It, i think its one of the more unique staind songs Please: gotta be my favorite staind song of any era...im not sure if it gets any better than this (4 walls is 'almost' up there with it..lol) anyways i love em all and im sure i could find reasons for every staind song to be on this list, but we'd all be in coffins by the time id finish..haha __________________ "So hear me now boy Stay alive 'cause that's the way it should go Would your maker have opened your eyes If he'd preferred them closed?" |
