awww everything...i'm sure the right one will come along.....Staind songs helped me believe in love again....when for so long i hated men and had that "don't give a fuck" attitude.....and it took 10 years but i finally found the one.....

I totally feel you. I've got into nothing but meaningless negative relationships that only brought me down. To protect myself I became very emotionally distant. One day I realized who I have become and thought to myself if I stop caring completely how will I ever find that girl? So I keep enough hope alive to go out and meet new people no matter how negative my thoughts about females are.

Holy shit, this is hard.

BUT, if I have to narrow it down to one, it's gotta be the chorus to "So Far Away." I think it pretty much sums up what I hope to be able to say about my life someday. (What's in bold though really gets to me...)

I know this is a long time coming, but I DO remember that, just not the funny thing that person thought it was.

i dont get why people post the most meaningful lyric. Your emotions change all the time. One lyric might mean something to you for a month then something happens to you, and you become really happy.. so another song will mean alot to you..or you become really depressed so a more depressing song will mean alot to you.. I dunno, i just kinda find these types of topics pointless in a way..

^well..there are certain lines that always stick out to me, and when i hear them it gives me chills every time, no matter what my current emotional state is. so...i think that's what this threads intent is.
