Hey, 39 yr. old Staind fan here...LOVE your lyrics. Wanted to share a story.
I've been going through some 'stuff' lately.. I'm sure its Menopause...anyway...it sucks. Mood swings, depression, awful... I was at times thinking I'd be better off non-existent. I was pumped full of meds, tested, and talked to death. All that just made me numb, no feelings, ashamed and labeled.
On the way home from a session with the doc I heard "Falling" on 98.9 the Bear out of Ft. Wayne, IN. I had to pull over. I didn't realize until that moment that I HAD BECOME THE PROBLEM by not looking within myself, and believing that I could fix this. I was looking to others and things to 'make me feel better'. NOW...I'm off the drugs, diving into life and feeling each moment for what it is.
So, thank you guys for helping this pre- menopausal old lady find her strength again and get back into life. I've never had a song touch me so profoundly. Amazing.
