I think staind made some really good choices on their covers. My personal favorite is nutshell by alice in chains, he covered that song on his solo tour and it was amazing, anyone have favorites or one i dont know about?

I love the cover Staind did of "Black" by Pearl Jam.I thought that was great.I didn't know they also did "Nutshell".I would absolutely love to hear that.Nutshell by AIC is by far on of my all time favorite songs.I bet Staind's version would be awesome.

nutshell is the shit. i've heard aaron play it 5 times now (3 acoustic shows and 2 staind shows). although that is one of my favorites, aaron played "blood and fire" by the indigo girls at one of his solo shows. i know i know, it's the indigo girls, but let me tell you it was fucking sick. That and U2's "Bad". Did you know that Bono and Aaron are realy good friends? he said that he was over his house for thanksgiving. maybe they'll collaborate sometime!

I've only heard "Black" and "Nothing Else Matters" but out of those two Black is definitely my favorite cover.

My favorite cover is "Nutshell" as well ... absolutely amazing. AiC was, and still is, my favorite band and I must say, Aaron floored me when he covered that song in concert recently ... it was so beautiful.

I've heard him play about 20 covers though. Billy Joel's song Piano man - that was awesome. Definitely a close 2nd. Try getting him to play freebird. He gets about 10 words out and quits. lol I give you my destiny, I'm giving you all of me |

"In Your Eyes"-Peter Gabriel (ok I cheated... this was actually NOT a cover done by Staind, but was done by J-CAT, which was Aaron and Jon's band b4 Staind...
