i see it says lyrics so thats what these are. lyrics for a song. I wrote it about a half a year ago at a place called Job Coprs. i met a kid there named nate noel. this kid has amazing talent and could probably get himself signed but unfortunately a problem with cocaine got him removed from job corps and no one has heard from him again. I wrote this song for him to write accoustic guitar to, but he never got it.

subject matter is the end of a struggling relationship.

In these pages, of history swept aside

to the life in these pages

She looks up to the night sky
And wonders why he had to go and die
just to be replaced with a shell of the old and no soul of its own
She never wanted it to happen that way.
wishing that, he could have just stayed.
Now defeat sinks in. time she spent spinning the tale
Is blown away, in a dark and stormy gale
The only thing left for her to do
is shut the book, and start anew
