I remember Riding in
The backseat of a little car.
In sheer disbelief Of the beauty sitting next to me
Who wanted to be a star.
I felt so out of place Never wanted her to see my face
Because I wasn't worthy of
The smile on her face Leaving memories you can't replace
It's something you can't rise above.

So thank you for the memories and thank you for your smiles
Yes they will always stick with me as we travel thousands of miles
There's things we'll do in this lifetime as odd as they may seem
But I'm forever thankful for these memories you gave me.
