Unbidden

The sound of a thousand piercing gazes
threaten to overtake me
restless I wander through the night
I can hear you
dreams in my heart
devoid of the pain
my racing thoughts somehow
won't be contained
confusion of a new light
sinister is the goal
I can't seem to grasp
the meaning of it all
keep this in mind
as I dream tonight
and therein lies a love
unbidden

This looks a lot more like a poem (and a good poem!)than like the lyrics of a song... I can see it's very heartfelt and I'm impressed! Good job!

Thanks...it is actually a poem...one of these days I'll take the time to figure out lyrics...there isn't a place to put poems I figured here was the most fitting.
