Flawed hope lingers in the back of my mind.
Regretting all the bad decisions that I've left behind.
Hopefully situations will get better. Everything will turn out right.
But as it is now, the smile that was once on my face is well out of sight.
So now I'm here, depending on myself to get out of this mess.
With the weight on my back giving me unbearable stress.
I take this weight, with both of my arms,
And throw it in the distance, away from harm.
