Thanks J. I really appreciate it. I just kinda get down this time of year thinking about something from my past. But yeah, I'm still good. Much better than in years past. But anyway, I'll still probably always write those sad, pathetic lyrics no matter what...that's my forte, haha.

You mention you'll write lyrics like this bc its your forte... here's how i feel about that. i agree, i think i'll always have darker, sadder lyrics...but thats because these demons will always be there. even if life turns around, you'll always have memories and be able to express those feelings. its a way of therapy, ya know?

And yeah, you're absolutely right what you said about writing. I couldn't have put it better. Just getting a great girlfriend or having a few good days (or any good luck at all) doesn't change what bad things a person has been through in their life and they still need to express and vent their feelings somehow. And for a lot of us (like the people who post their lyrics here) writing lyrics and/or playing music fills that need...if that makes any sense. I rambled too, haha.

Well, enough about me...what about you, H? You've written anything or been working on writing anything lately? I know you can't record at the moment, but just some lyrics for now from you would be great.

Yeah, I've got some new lyrics that I put together a week or so ago. Not sure if it's exactly how I want yet... but expect something soon!
