I would try to understand this

But there's one image I can't shake
the way they both had looked at me
A cold mix of being ashamed
and even worse, was their sympathy

And do I even care to know?
Like this car, my whole goddamn life
it's now all out of my control
I hear, but cannot feel the crashing
or the water now filling my lungs
'cause I did all that I could ever do
and now, I just want to be done

Thank you so much Candice. I wasn't sure if anyone would like this one because it's a little different than I usually write. And yeah, I often struggle when I try to "paint a picture" in my lyrics, so thank you again for saying you got what I was trying to describe.

This one made my insides fuzzy, it's awesome, Brian.
