I was browsing for music today on myspace and I actually found a new single from Papa Roach. It's called "Lifeline" and its my favorite song on their profile. I’m amped for their new album now, but I have to wait until March 24th.

I saw them over the summer at Cruefest. They were pretty good. Lots of energy.

Lifeline is a solid single.

Yeah! My buddy was at Cruefest, he said they were great, that's kind of why I got back into em. I went over to check it out, he said they had some new good stuff (I hadn't listened to them since the first album.)

To add a monumental cherry on top of that sundae, they're about to go on tour with Buckcherry, and A7X! kicking it off Jan 28th in SLC!

Hell yeah! Me and the wife are hitting up the Albuquerque show on the 31st! It's gonna be awesome. I saw them play Lifeline in November, I thought it was quite boring, but P-Roach are an awesome live band.

Lifeline seems o.k. to me, but it's going in a different direction than the PR I really enjoy. The new album "Metamorphosis", will likely be real similar to Paramour Sessions, and much less like Infest and Getting Away With Murder.

I am going to try and get in on one of those A7X tour dates, but I'm really hoping to see them after March when they will hopefully be touring as the headliner for the new album. Hopefully they'll pick some good support and make it a great show.

IMO, The Hammerstein show in November was one of the sickest lineups for my particular tastes in a long while: Staind, Seether, Papa Roach!

My favorite PR album is definitely Infest, and the song I dig the most is Between Angels and Insects.

Lifeline's a pretty decent track. They've put out plenty of other songs that are better than this one, but this surely isn't one of their worst either. I think they are a much better band doing the mature(r) music found on "Getting Away with Murder" and "The Paramour Sessions" than on "Infest" and "Lovehatetragedy". I give them credit for being one of the few bands that managed to do the whole rap-rock thing somewhat well, but I just prefer the more serious side of the band.

The one thing I definitely agree with xdog on though is that "Between Angels & Insects" is a killer track, definitely one of their best, and probably the best off of Infest.
