i have to increase my score for sound of madness to 7.25/10...it takes a couple of good listens but it's started to grow on me...fav songs are what a shame, crow and the butterfly, breaking inside and sound of madness..has anyone heard the bonus tracks though?

The new Shinedown CD is, thus far, my favorite CD of 2008. It's difficult to top Leave a Whisper, but I think my final verdict is that it is on the same level as LAW with a score of 9.8/10 from me for both CDs. Us and Them, of course, comes in a distant third (with a score of maybe... 7.7-7.9/10)

YES, Son of Sam is a killer metal track, and I Own You is a nice hard rocker; and "The Energy" is the "reply" made by Shinedown... dedicated to the fans. What a f'ing phenomenal CD this is, ESPECIALLY the deluxe version.

harrison, what did you use to listen to those shinedown bonus songs (from that link you sent me) b/c I can't get them to play on real player, itunes, or windows media player, and those are the only music players I have on my computer..and I really want to hear them! ha

i haven't gotten a chance to go to the library and download them (no cpu at home, remember) so i just got that link today at work and figured i'd pass it along to you....

did you actually download the files and they just wouldn't play? or did the link not even work so you couldn't even download anything? they were in a .rar file, right?

no i downloaded them fine, its just cuz they're in a .rar file I couldn't get them to play on any of the music players i have?? so I was just wondering what other people were listening to them on.

did you extract the mp3s (im assuming they are mp3s) out of the rar file or are you just trying to play them from inside the rar file?

I was just trying to play them from inside the rar file, and that didn't work. how do you extract mp3's from it? maybe that's what I have to do, idk..
