Things are slow at the moment, so I thought I'd ask everyone what their favorite radio station is, and if they have a website and if people can listen online to it?

Mine is www.edgetulsa.com I like them because they don't talk over the beginning or end of the songs (but the catch is that they remind you of that fact a zillion times a day). Lessee...they have the top 8 songs countdown at 8 p.m. They have the 9 o' clock cockfight (they play two new songs and people call and say which one they like better). They play a lot of alternative from the 90's (which I like) as well as today's stuff. They're pretty good about playing most Staind songs, though I've never heard them play 'King Of All Excuses', which kinda sucks. A few other singles don't get played but not many. They play 'Outside', 'For You', 'Fade', 'Epiphany' and course lots of 'It's Been Awhile' on a fairly regular basis. They used to have Loveline on at midnight, but not anymore. I didn't really mind because that show sucked without Adam Corola anyway. Besides I prefer music, and listening to guys complain about their weird shaped dicks or girls crying about how they fucked 10 guys old enough to be their dad in a week and they want to know what's wrong with them...can get tiresome after awhile.

Wasn't sure if I should post this in the Family Room or here...but I chose here, since it is music related. Sorry if it sucks or if it's been done before, I was just bored and thats all I could think of posting.

106.9 WCCC comes in at a close second.... if only they had intelligent DJs that weren't uberly retarded.... their playlist is sweet though. I wish LAZER had overnight DJs like WCCC does, comes in handy for those of us who work overnighters.......

I think I mentioned this before to your saying that about WCCC's DJs, but most of them are actually quite intelligent. They just like to have fun and be funny, much like some of the regulars on here. It's understandable that it's not your type of humor or way to have fun, but it IS quite apparent that that is all it is, not that they (most of them) aren't intelligent. It's personas...they are radio PERSONALITIES (sp?). I think (for the most part) that they are great, and you'd be VERY hard pressed to beat their play list! With all my road tripping, WMMR in Philly is the only one that even comes close to WCCC.

98.9 The Rock. The Drive at 5, nonstop music for nonstop traffic, mandatory Metallica at 9, and the Pit (really hard rock / metal) at 11.

Yesssss you did haha, I don't know, I guess unintelligent isn't the right word for me to describe a good deal of their DJs but more like.... morons and jackasses. I know that they're putting on a show, but I prefer DJs like the ones that LAZER99.3 offers who choose to be themselves and come off as being really down to earth and reasonably intelligent people.

WCCC's playlist DOES, in fact, kick ass though.

probably have to go w/ WBCN here in Boston, but I hardly listen to the radio anymore..
