I don't know why everyone is hatin' on Chris. The man has got soul and this direction totally fits him. It's much better than him trying to recreate Soundgarden/Audioslave again.

I was a fan of his last solo album even if people didn't like it. I get his music no matter where it comes from.

Holy shit. I thought the Timbaland comment was a joke. He is a really great singer. I've liked Audioslave and some of his solo stuff. The first song, Long gone is better suited as a rock song with guitars and real drums. I could just as well hear that on his older stuff or Audioslave. The second song, Ground Zero, I think is pretty good. It has more of an old school soul/r&b flavor. It reminds me slightly of Marvin Gaye, who was the man. The third song Watch Out, is just straight poppy hiphop. I would expect that from Justin Timberlake.
