Yeah, which sucks. Thanks for the welcome! Do you know which company is picking them up? And I work for a radio station and we love to promote HURT. They're beyond one of the best newer bands of the past ten years. And if Capitol dropped them... Then why are they still on the street team's website? Honestly, if you're going to bash Coldplay, you need to rethink how you approach music. They've got more intriguing and creative chord progressions and style accompanied with actually meaningful lyrics. It doesn't hurt that they've never sold a record with less than 9 million copies, either. A true fan of music would be able to comprehend the importance of bands whose sound may not be, in their opinion, the greatest...  |

I actually respect the hell out of coldplay, and can listen to them if im in a really mellow mood. from a musical standpoint, they are just about genius' And there is no news on the HURT record label....hopefully someone picks them up who actually realizes how great they are. ---------- The same things you're thinking might make you feel better, The same things that probably got you here. Capital are retards that are on their 3rd CEO (actually, they are going w/NOT choosing one and just have a stand in atm lol) in a year. They are a sinking ship. So, removing HURT from theiur STreet Team list isn't on the top of their worry list, I imagine. Believe me, I have had my issues w/that street team, myself...they had no oranization even before their troubles were so serious. Definitely keep up w/promoting them, though. It's amazing how they are still unheard of in some states, etc, w/their home states not even giving them airplay. It's pathetic! As for a new label, last I heard, a few labels have shown interest, w/the guys still weighing their options. They are on a short break from touring right now, and are probably considering all their options more seriously atm. As for Coldplay, Idk if that was directed towards me, but I never bashed them. I honestly don't know them enough to make a judgement. But w/what you and my boy Flaffy just said about them, I'll try to check them out to give them a serious listen, soon. Believe me, I am not one that can't appreciate or respect a band just because I don't really care for them. I don't care much for the likes of Tool, Yes, and many other bands I have the utmost respect for. I hope someone picks them up soon, I'd hate for them to suffer from the same tragedy as all these other bands who come and go due to lack of support. Yet we still have annoying little shitty bands leeching around for years and years.
