flyleaf was awesome enough to be added to Staind'd tour a couple yrs ago, I saw them in like 05 when they were some lil band playing dives, when the took pics with everyone and signed autographs after the show so they rocked hard then and I still think they are good..... how bout the rest of you all?
If you just walked away, what could I really say, would it matter anyway, would it change how you feel? |

I like Flyleaf. I give Lacey props - she's a GREAT screamer for a chick! I sing but I can't scream to save my life! I'm really digging on "All Around Me." :] And being Christian, I most definitely love "Cassie." "Fully Alive" was the track that got me into them. Have you ever heard the first read/demo version of "Fully Alive"? It contains an extra bridge/verse that's not in the other version.

humm well I have the fully alive when they first started out b4 they had the cd, before when they were mailing the cds to ppl so thats prob the one i have im gonna check it out tho.

I really like them. I particularly like their new video for "Sorrow" at 2:36 into the vid. That's DEFINITELY the best part! ;] lol

honestly, radio overplayed flyleaf WAYYYYY too much (at least around here in the 413 area... LAZER, WAAF, WCCC, etc...) -- and now they are NEVER played. they were pretty alright live, but i wasn't too impressed. to give credit where it's due, i think lacey is the best female lead vocalist in all of the bands i have seen live that have a chick as the lead vocalist.

Lacey's voice is kinda like Otep Shamaya's. Very powerful, and not often found in that way in a female vocalist. Like Kitte, Arch Enemy, and Otep, she's got the scream that can stop any guy's.

I saw Flyleaf on last years Family Values. They had technical difficulties in the beginning, but pulled off a great show.
