I went to the June 30th Staind Concert in Manchester. It was my first Staind Concert (acoustic w/aaron lewis is the only other concert from them i've been to) and I must say that it rocked! Here is what they played
For You Crawl Fade So Far Away Yesterday Epiphany Right here (new song from chapter V) Allow? (sounded like he called it allow or follow, new song from Chapter V) Paper Jesus (new song from Chapter V, very hard) Outside It's Been Awhile Mudshuvel I thinks that was all of them. I got a guitar Pick that Mike Mushok through out to the crowd. I was right in the front of the pit. Got to give arron a high five! FYE: They had booths at the concert and were selling preorders for Chapter V. When you buy their preorder ($15) you got a CD insert with the bands REAL signatures on it. No Address were alright Breaking Benjamin rocked pretty good I was surprised by the 3 doors down concert. They had a pretty badass stage setup with pyrotechnics and everything. They sounded a lot harder then on their CDs. I think even non fans of 3dd might enjoy their show. This message has been edited. Last edited by: SickNic, |

I went to the show at the Verizon last night as well. It was a decent show, although I've seen Staind in better practice. I think it was just the first show jitters. Most of the stuff kicked ass as usual, but you could tell there were a few problems with pitch etc. I'm not gonna complain tho. Lot better than I could do.
The overall sound they had was awesome. I'm really anticipating Chapter V now, after hearing some of the harder music, like Paper Jesus. This is the first time I've actually seen a big band go from screaming hard metal, to mellow, and actually pull off going back to their harder roots successfully. Most bands try and fail miserably when taking that approach, so well done on their part. I got to go backstage to meet Aaron and Mike and got myself a pic with them. I think I was probably the only one seeing as for one reason or another, they disallowed any picture taking for the meet and greet, which was a shame for all those dedicated Staind fans. Breaking Benjamin also rocked the show, much more screaming than I had anticipated for a show such as this, but I love that kinda music anyway. No Address was decent enough, and 3 Doors Down, like them or not, put on a hell of a show. Great set, perfect timing on numerous aspects, be it the video correlation or the feel of the music, and did over a two hour set. Show started at 7 and ended at 10 of midnight. Surely worth the money. The Verizon seems to be getting better with their sound quality too, so that helps. When I saw Staind last year, it was a great show, but the sound technicians were apparently still testing out what sounded good in the arena. Luckily, they are perfecting it, and it came out much better this time around. Yeah as I said tho, awesome show. Staind really brought in the biggest and best feel, with the most dedicated fans. I think every single person around me was singing every word to their songs, even Right Here, which has only been around a couple months. So well done Staind, as well as the other bands. Awesome show. Make sure you catch a leg of the tour. AIM: AgeofAtrocity |

Yeah he sounded pretty good, but it was really hard to hear the screams because mike's guitar drowned out his voice. I couldn't tell you what the lyrics were to his new songs becuase of that, but I could sing along to the other songs. I was pleasantly surprised they played craws, and especially when they played Mudshuvle (my favorite song from them).
I am really glad they are going back to their roots with heavier rock. Paper Jesus sounded amazing. I am going to be going to that bestbuy thin in albany to get a sneak peak at their album. |

Was at the Staind concert tonight and it fucking rocked. They played an amazing hour and a half set . All the bands rocked this outdoor festival for almost 6 hours. 3 Doors Down put on a very good live show, their fans will be very impressed. The bands were in town Friday night and spent the night drinkng and partying in our town, very cool. funny thing, Aaron played the new single then said " I was going to tell you the name of that song before I started playing but I was too high". great show

I saw them last night (July 6) at the Meadowlands, and they f'n ROCKED. They seemed to have played for a longer time than 3dd (who also put on a good show). Aaron looked f'n wasted, but he was awesome. I think he has such an amazing voice. Mudshovel is still my favorite. Can't wait for Chapter V.

If you thought Staind was good then, you REALLY have to see them headline. I thought they were horrible when they played with 3DD and all their other concerts I found to be amazing. When they headline, go see them. Then you'll know what a good Staind concert is. I give you my destiny, I'm giving you all of me |
