Okay, I got back from the show about an hour ago...here was the setlist (I think, pretty much in order):

Fill Me Up
Fade
So Far Away
Something Like Me
Please
Zoe Jane
Reply
Devil
Everything Changes
Home
Let it Out
Brother (w/Chris)
Bonghits for Breakfast (w/Chris)
Garden (w/ Chris)
Excess Baggage
Patience
___________
Outside
It's Been Awhile
Right Here

A few notes: yes you read that right..he did FADE and PLEASE.... both sounded really really good and I think that's the first time hes done both of those solo acoustically... The other stuff sounded really great too... everything h e played was fantastic like always.

With that said, I want to be honest about the show... Before the end of "Patience" if you had asked me where this ranked on my solo shows, it easily would have been going to #1 (this was my 3rd, my first 2 were 1/5/06 ar hardrock and 4/8/06 at resorts), but as soon as Patience ended, Aaron simply said, Thank you, and walked off. I honestly was in complete shock.... I knew he would do an encore, butit did not seem like the concert was near over... he only played 4 covers, 3 of which hes been doing regularly with Chris, AND he didnt do like parts of anything (besides a 1 line tease of sknyrd).

It might be because he played so many Staind songs that it just didnt seem like it was a full set... in truth, though, he did play about an hour and 45 minutes, but it just seemed like he was just getting started with the covers when he ended (I mean I expected a good 5-6 more songs before he walked off...).. and this is especially since there really were not many teases or anything like that... Maybe I'm crazy, but I know a bunch of the board people were there tonight... did it not feel a little odd/incomplete when he walked off after patience????

I also really wanted to hear the new stuff... Ihave a couple possible theories on why all of this happened... first is that since he recently found out about the 1/11 show that was being sold on ebay that had the new songs, he didnt want to play them... the other thing is maybe b/c its 2 nights here, he wanted to do more staind songs 1 night and more covers the next? I'm just reaching for stuff here, but maybe also when he first started these shows, it was more like this (more staind songs than covers) and since it has become closer to 50/50 recently, he wanted to change that, especially with a full blown tour coming up... Again , its easy for me to sit there and throw complaints out, especially since I'm not the one singing for over an hour and a half straight...and there could have been a bunch of other reasons too (maybe the Borgata needed him to be done by 11 or maybe he wasnt feeling great, or maybe he didn't want to wear his voice out since he has to sing tmrw too), and maybe he simply wanted to play more Staind songs and there was nothing else to it...

Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there about tongiht.... still had a great time, and everything he played was great, and it was thrilling in itself to just hear fade and please.. but this show was headed down the "LEGENDARY" path had he played a few more covers.... but again, Aaron is the man, and I can't wait to see him again in Philly on 4/3. I'm in no way mad or anything like that..just curious if anyone else found the end of tonight a bit odd/premature.

For those of u going tonight (2/10) have fun, and let us kno what he plays!!

I would have to agree with you. Something was wrong tonight I don't know what but he was not himself. I'm still shocked that he didn't play any covers. Where were the wisecracks, comments, and stuff he has been doing? Who was that man on stage tonight? He was not himself at all really. It was weird lets see what happens tonight.

^^Your set list was perfect, except that "Let it All Out" was before "Home." And, he actually hasn't been doing the teases a lot lately...I found it a little disappointing the 1st time, but we get more full songs that way (19 this time), and how many times can he play Rainbow Connection, Puff, etc, until it's no longer fun. He was still playful, however, trying to get our view on Anna Nicole, ranking on Chris' plethera of useless information, etc. I found this to be one of the more well-rounded ones. Although, I must admit that I, too, would prefer a few teases...more playfulness.

I think we will all agree that Aaron can sing any of our favorite (cover) songs, like nobody else. I enjoyed his performance and I am thankful to hear him sing his own lyrics in such a close setting (3rd row to the right). It was first time at the Music Box and I can't wait for the Electric Factory. Maybe the problem was that most of the requests were for other artists' music. He writes lyrics that most performers' can't compete with and that it is what I waited for and got.

i thought it was a great show. it was dissapointing though. i cannot believe he didnt play "nuthell". hes played it every time ive seen him. i was expecting him to do a lot of covers because i was looking at previous set lists and watching perfomances on youtube. i was hoping he was going to play songs like "angry chair" "rooster" and others. but he was still amazing and i had a great time. i'm going to tonights show also. its gonna be awesome b/c i have 3rd row seats. lets hope for more covers.

I enjoyed myself and yeah it was a bit odd to not hear that many covers, but I was glad to hear Home finally for the first time in AGES (for me at least) along with Fade. The acoustic version of Please I thought was great. I got to hear Let It Out, which it was me screaming it out about 10 times lol. I was surprised to hear it and happy.

I got to sit next to the two assholes who would not shut the fuck up for the life of me so half of the time I was pretty much being annoyed by these two drunk morons. If they read this, yeah you two idiots next to me in the front row. You were two obnoxious idiots. Nobody wanted to hear your loud obnoxious singing which in fact wasn't singing at all. You were slurring the words and your girlfriend shouldn't have been waving her arms in the air like a flailing moron. There were people behind her. Rude bastards, I tell ya!

For those who are there tonight, I hope you enjoy and get to hear more covers.

yeah it was so rude when people were talking while he was perfomring. every aaron lewis show i have been too, people do it. last years show at Resorts he got pissed off at people for doing it and the Taj Mahal show the year before. when people do it, it ruins the show.

i thought the show was cool but just a bit short. it sure was nice to hear "Brother" - one of my fav Layne songs!!! Chris sounded very much like Layne in my opion - they did a great job with that - made my night. i have to agree with Kitten - about the 2 morons in the front row - im surprised aaron didn't cuss her out - he looked as if he was biting his tongue onthe whole birthday thing..........anyways im looking forward to tonight...peace....Roddy

Hey Kittentastic since you were sitting right there, maybe you could tell me...did somebody tell Aaron that he didn't look like he was starving, or did somebody say he didn't look like he was stoned and he misunderstood them. It was right before they played Bonghits...
I heard his reaction..."there's more of me to love" but I didn't hear what was said to him. I was about 8 rows back on the right and have to say everyone around me was nice and quiet. I also would have like to hear more covers, but I loved hearing all the Staind stuff. I guess I wish it was longer and he could have played both. It was my first Aaron show and I'm totally hooked...it went way too fast.

this was my first aaron lewis solo show, and i have to say, past what has been said on here, i didnt really know what to expect, and i was pleased. He played home, that is my alltime favorite song, and i had seen them 6 times before, and they never played it, including the hiro show when they skipped it cuz mike couldnt get in tune! so i pretty much was on cloud 9 the rest of the night.

I get this feeling that people yelling at aaron is awkward? i mean its one thing to yell out a request everyonce and a while, but like, i dot no, it seemed like some people were demanding stuff, it takes away from the spontenatity of it all i think, but i mean as long as everyone has fun i guess.
hope tonight was fun for those who went!

@crazykid
Aaron was introducing Chris by saying they sarved together way back when, and someone yelled out that he's not anymore (meaning he makes good money for performing, now). Aaron then took to joking that he indeed doesn't look starved, but that there's now more of him to love.

@hpb
I don't know what you're insinuating?!? LOL Seriously, though, it was awesome, and, yes, I have it. But, I'm not posting it, considering the fact that despite my requests to respect my wishes to not put up ripped copies of my vids of Aaron on the net...it was done. Sorry.

Some unknown guy from a band apparently has. It's new under his Wikipedia thing... I have no idea why the hell they'd add that useless piece of information... but actually looking after I typed it, it isn't there anymore. It was taken off. It said something about a singer from a random unknown band called him a fat cunt, and his weight gain had to do something with the liking of potatoes.
