i think staind made the most noise there, i didnt like 3dd that much, but watching them in concert definetly made me hate them a little less..but point is, staind fuckin owned that show.

Staind definitly owned the Chicago show. The 3dd set was a bunch of lights and pyro, which was great, but Aarron's personality along with classic songs stole the show!!! He seems like the coolest guy! The crowd was alive and lovin the staind set as was I.

I was there, with my boyfriend, and my best friend and man all I can say is Staind definately owned!! I loved their whole set.. I was the one going nutso in the front row of the lawn, yelling out "GO OLD SCHOOL".... at the top of my lungs, when they played "Mudshovel".....the New songs rocked too... No address wasn't my favorite band there... their songs were catchy, but their stage prescence/show wasn't the greatest...I REALLY enjoyed Breaking Benjamin's set... that was awesome.... they were way better than no address.....3 Doors Down Impressed me with thier show... It was pretty awesome... I Liked 3 doors down a little ( a few songs anyway), now after thier show tonight, I'm definately starting to love them a little more...They are better than I thought they would be.. that was kinda cool how they had all the cool videos and pics in the background on the screens and showed closeups of 3 dd .... now why the hell couldn't they have done that for Staind?? That woudl have been cool... P.S. Old School u were so awesome on Mudshovel tonight.... Just wanna say it's a shame we couldn't have hung out b4 the show backstage... oh well maybe next time... *Smiles*

"I was the one going nutso in the front row of the lawn, yelling out "GO OLD SCHOOL"..."
lol, I heard you! Anyway, Staind definately stole the show. They started off with "For You", which I think they could have done better... But I can't complain. After that they really picked it up. They played "Crawl", one of my favorite songs from Dysfunction. They played "So Far Away", which was amazing. Then, "Right Here". I'd still like to know how Mike plays the verse part in that song... They did a great job with "Fade", but "Epiphany" definately got everyone's attention. I was going nuts when they were playing "Falling" (one of my favorites from the new songs so far). They did a really good job on that. "Yesterday" was great. Not amazing, but pretty good. When Aaron played "Outside" he let the crowd sing the first chorus, and everyone was really into it. They got some lighters going, I couldn't see how many but there were probably a couple dozen. Paper Jesus sounded awesome, I can't wait to hear the cd version. They played "Nutshell", really good job, and then "It's Been Awhile" (I'm thinking, ...finally!) They had been switching between electric and acoustic for each song and I was wondering when they were gonna play it. Last song, "Mudshovel"... just amazing. YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS SONG LIVE. They really got into it, and they had some awesome strobes during the chorus. At the end, to many people's surprise, Aaron started building up the "mudshovel, mudshovel, mudshovel" until he was screaming, and at the end let out one long scream. Awesome. There were a few minor problems (the echo in "Right Here" was all screwed up) and Aaron's voice was drowned out a couple times, but all in all they rocked. 3 Doors Down was okay, but they're a little bit boring to me... Breaking Benjamin did better than I expected them to, I definately enjoyed them. Still, Staind was definately the best. |,,| >_< |,,| _______________________ "And you say that I'm weak, so show me the proof, cuz I still exist in spite of you." -Schizophrenic Conversations |

Also, was it me, or did it seem like the crowd liked Staind more than 3 Doors Down?

it seemed that the Crowd DEFINATELY did like staind more.. I KNOW I did... no doubt about that.... whole show was really awesome... Glad I got to go.. Now I can't wait till Staind goes on thier tour to promote Chapter V.... that's gonna rule.. defiantely Pit tickets for that show.. not lawn... I only got Lawn cause 3 Doors Down was headlining.. if it were Staind, it would be pit for sure....

its obvious for everyone at the concert to like staind then for 3 doors down, no one has heard from staind since their last album years back, and to make a comeback now it's the best feeling to get especially for a band that knows their own music.
