fuck..... I didn't tune in time haha, what was said in the interview?! It couldn't have lasted long...

I turned on the radio but due to working midnights last night i fell asleep before they started. i woke up when it was ending when they were talking about aaron only playing a limited amount of covers at shows now. Then they talked a bit about his solo album. Then about the Mohegan DVD. Aaron said the people at Atlantic were holding things up w/ that. That was pretty much all i got.

wat was his reasoning for only playing a few covers at acoustic shows? just curious

he said people were starting to go to the shows just to hear covers (which is true) and that he wanted that time to play extra songs that he normally never plays.

But once again, he said he HAS to play IBAW and Outside. I still say ditch them and add some different stuff.

as the last tour went on you could tell he was getting annoyed at people only wanting to hear covers and even mentioned at shows that thats not how he got famous so he didnt want to turn in to "that guy"

i did notice on some of the set lists posted that he wasnt doing as many covers, i don't care either way i was just curious to hear his reasoning for it, and it makes total sense.

so what do u think the odds of me hearing can't believe at the first AC show? I mean that isn't a cover, he can do that! ha

with him playing less covers and trying new staind songs, as ong as he can play it on the guitar, i say he will eventually play it. who knows when though? your best bet is to ask him to play it. if he doesnt know how he'll tell you.
