I thought it would be easy to find but I didn't have much look and figured that the first person to stumble along this post would let me know, I am interested to find out which they are and perhaps why.

Which song is it that he is referring to in 'Layne' ? anyone know?

My guess is that it isn't a particular song. What I think he's meaning is that listening on the radio, they played an Alice in Chains song in memory of Layne, and Aaron is singing along to it.

Ah ok, I thought maybe it was a specific song Aaron heard and thats what he meant in 'layne'
