Hey everybody. I was just curious if anyone else noticed that aaron is really struggling with his voice. I saw staind july 5th and he said he was sick and i just saw them again on saturday and his voice was still off.also all of the recent videos on youtube have aaron struggling to hit notes.i know i hold him to a high standard because he is the best voice in music, but there seems to be something wrong.not sure if its because they are touring again and its been awhile. i was just wondering if anyone else noticed.

I saw Staind last Saturday and Aaron seemed fine. I saw some you tubes from the beginning of July and he was very off but that's cause he was sick. Maybe he is getting sick again maybe that's why they cancelled the show on the 3rd.

Yeah, I've been saying since the first "Believe" video, before the tour. It was REALLY scaring me how he's been touring non-stop while/after being sick, that he was struggling so, and that it seemed to actually hurt him to sing. I was afraid he could do permanent damage to his voice not being able to fully recover from being sick, w/the non-stop touring.

I saw a few shows at the end of July, and he did start to FINALLY start to sound better and not seem to be struggling so or beemingly be in pain singing. BUT, to me, he still was far from all better/himself. Hopefully he hasn't/isn't doing irreparable harm to his throt/vocal chords by not having the chance to recover properly, and that he'll have enough time off between the end of THIS tour and the next one w/Seether in the fall. If not, although you all know I am dying to finally get to see Staind w/Seether finally (after their last tour together was cancelled, I hope they cancel it again for his sake, if need be.

and damn that would suck...but just like seethers reasoning for canceling...do what you gotta do. its an obvious choice.

they didnt cancel show on 3rd cuz of aaron. staind wasnt even headlining, it was XFEST with tons of bands going. I know cuz I had tickets for the concert and I was pissed to see it cancelled.

so do you know WHY they canceled it? and was the entire show canceled, or just staind's set?

Yes very lame. When I saw Staind back on the 19th of July Aaron sounded a little off when he sang Price to Play, but the rest of the songs he sounded fine. And when I saw him he didn't seem sick.

he needs to stop smoking the cigs.. the pot smoke aint helping his voice either.. o well

i think he should stop with cigs, but the ganja is ok with me

I'm sure Aaron knows and will take responsibility with all of this, you know he's not going to ruin the sound of Staind if he can prevent it.

he stoped smoking cigs for a good amound of time i think, Never pot.. Im just saying imagine if he never smoked.. like ever... His voice would probly sound alot better..and smoking hurts your immune system.. you get sick alot more..

Yeah along with your immune system it hurts your vocal chords and everything around it that helps you to sing. I'm sure he will quit in time.
