Staind's last 3 studio albums have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Album
chart, putting them in an elite class that includes U2, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Van Halen, and Disturbed.

All of those bands have only had three consecutive #1's. The way I understand it is that Staind would be the first with FOUR consecutive #1's. Metallica came VERY close:

But no cigar! They fell short with one of the albums @ #2 -- we need to make sure Staind doesn't get shafted that same way.

I put that there to show u all that those bands made it to number 3 like Staind but Staind is making it to number 4. It doesn't say they made it to number 4 it say 3.

no, alicia keys has 4 straight #1s...
she's not a band, but still...
So next week they have to outsell:

Little Wayne, Miley Cirus, Sugarland, Kid Rock, and Mamma Mia! soundtrack..well those are the top 5 now... not in order.
and next week we have:
Ice Cube
Shawyz
GZA
Black Stone Cherry (might pick this one up while I'm out, lol)
The Cheetah Girls Soundtrack
George Jones
The Academy Is
and that's really it...
on GZA poses a threat, since it's rap and rap for some totally un-apparent reason sells too too well in this country.. where we supposodly still have racial probs... my ass... white kids be buyin dat shit like is candy fur real, ya hurd?

Trust me guys, there is no competition this tuesday for Staind. Atlantic picked the 19th for a reason. The new Black Stone Cherry is fuckin awesome though, and as much as I love Illusion Of Progress their album is definitely better.

We are talking of the first HARD ROCK band to ever score 4 consecutive albums at number 1 here; not any kind of music. Geez guys michael jackson scored something like 10 album at number 1 in a row.

I bootlegged the new BSC CD the other day and I can, with 110% confidence, say that I strongly disagree with you. But hey, everyone's entitled to their own opinions.

Looking at the competition... it looks like this should be a breeze for Staind.

Dont forget that Nelly's releasing his new album as well on the 19th. These hip hop dudes, for whatever reason, sell a lot these days.
