He is "cold" and sitting down. Its hard to belt that out sitting down. You'll notice most of the acoustic performances are toned down. He was trying to match the recording.

I don't even like it that much but I'm listening to it in hopes that it will grow on me. I see your point because it has diminished my anticipation slightly. Lmao, why wouldn't you wanna hear the single? that makes no sense, that's why Staind released it, so people can hear. In hopes it'll hold people off till the album in august...Just listen to it. I agree. I was jumping for joy (quite literally) when I got to hear the whole thing the first time. Seriously, maurice, give it a listen. That's why it's out there. :] As for the video, yeah, he sounded nervous but if it was their first time performing it live, who wouldn't be? Can't blame him. His vocals weren't necessarily bad, they just weren't quite polished. No doubt that it will get better with time. -------  |

I understand when people don't want to listen to the whole CD before it comes out (either by downloading it or by listening to it on mypsace [like shinedown put theirs up for a couple days]) because you don't want to hear it all at a lesser quality than you should.... but its the single! give the single a listen
